I’m far too exhausted to go into great detail about today’s rosé event @ambushgallery so here are just a few happy snaps (only a few because I was too busy pouring wine to take photos!!!), and thanks go out to @collector_wines @lakegeorgewinery @lerida_wine @nortonroadwines @gallagher_wines @mckellarridgeestate @tallagandrahillwinery @yazzbar @gundogestate @enotria.wines @sapling_yard for pouring their wines at the first of many cultural wine experiences in the @kambri_anu precinct! I had fun pouring @quarryhillwines @kerralee_vineyard @larkhillwine and @shawwines. What a fabulous day out, despite that awful smoke. Tomorrow I’ll give away 6 of the regions finest rosé to one lucky online ticket holder. Tickets at the door will be $65 so it’s best to be prepared. Two more of the fabulous rosé being poured at tomorrows Rosé and Reg event are the @mckellarridgeestate Merlot and the @quarryhillwines Grenache rosé 🍷 100% merlot grapes. Strawberries and cream bouquet and palate with a crisp dry finish. Elegantly balanced with a big punch of colour. 🍷 The Quarry Hill 100% Grenache rosé is all lifted raspberry, mandarin and rose petal aromatics with a crisp but generous, textured palate of vibrant red fruits and a little citrus. Balanced acid provides a crisp, fresh finish. I can’t wait to try some of these beautiful rosé 💓

It’s pretty exciting when we have a brand new release to show you, along with a relatively unknown rosé style, and this Sunday at the Aussie Pink Summer Afternoon we’ve got both of these on pour. 🍷 “The @enotria.wines Wilder rosé Cabernet Franc with its complex spicy top notes supported by a supple medium body which leads to good mouth feel. This rosé has a delightful rose madder brilliance and a floral aroma that invokes the remembrance of heat of the past.” 🍷 The @lerida_wine Cullerin Saignee is an amazing barrel fermented rosé, made from Shiraz. The saignée method (meaning “bleeding” in French), involves making rosé as a by-product of red wine fermentation, where a portion of the pink juice from the grape must is removed at an early stage, which is fermented separately to produce rosé. And makes a Rosé that packs a fruit flavoured spicy punch. These two brand new release Rosé will change your perception of what a Rosé is supposed to be. Come and taste them both this Sunday. Along with the 15 local rosé being poured on the 8th by the wonderful wineries, I’ll be pouring a couple myself. I’ll have the divinely pretty @shawwines Shiraz rosé and the luscious @kerralee_vineyard Pinot Noir rosé. 🍷 The Kerralee Pinot Noir Rosé is a crisp and delicate wine, which is welcomed at almost every occasion, day or night, winter or summer. This vibrant variety displays a floral and fruity taste with a pleasant dry finish. 🍷 The Shaw Vineyard Shiraz rosé is all wild strawberry and peach with a savoury edge and a soft tannic grip on the finish. We had such an amazing day @ptleoestate, we had incredible food, incredible wine, incredible sculptures and that incredible view. Fortuitously we booked for lunch on their open weekend and we’ll be back tomorrow for the Farmers Market. The beauty that is a blush pink wine ❤️ Two more of our incredibly different but delightful rosé on show on the 8th are the @nortonroadwines Pinot Noir rosé and the @collector_wines Shoreline rosé. 🍷 The Norton Road single vineyard Canberra Pinot Noir rosé is tank fermented, delightfully pink, dry, a little bit savoury and textural with a nose of watermelon and dreams 😊 🍷 The Collector Wines Rosé is a blend of Sangiovese and Mammolo grapes, hand-harvested in the cool of the morning. The grapes were whole-bunch pressed, yielding just the barest pink colour in the juice. With aromas of mandarin, cherry, rose-water and spice, the palate is dry, with moreish mid-palate texture and mouth-watering acidity! #canberrawines #nortonroadwines #collectorwines #roséallday
